"The best place to eat before a Broadway show is Café Edison in the Edison Hotel. It’s this old, little café. They have this delicious borscht and matzoh ball soup that I thoroughly recommend. And after a Broadway show, I like going to Cafe Un Deux Trois on 44th Street between Broadway and Sixth. They’re really nice there. The maitre d’ is called Jose.
